My machine is down
Diagnosis and corrective maintenance, on site or remote. Including machines with no documentation or lost software.
From the machine that just went down to a system built from scratch: we design, integrate and commission the automation your process actually calls for. One team accountable, from drawing to start-up.

Every plant has that one machine: imported, aging, or too specific for anyone to touch.
When it goes down, the OEM won't answer and the integrator tells you “that's not our scope”.
That's where Dextrus comes in. We're an engineering shop built for custom automation — the kind that never comes out of a catalog, because it's drawn around your process.
Repair, upgrade or a build from scratch. You talk straight to the engineer who designs it and writes the code, and you get the machine running.
Custom automation, delivered by the people with their hands on it.
A stopped line doesn't wait for a quote. Every hour without output turns into late orders, idle crews and overtime to catch up.
In the Dextrus mark, the X is where different paths meet. In your project, it's where your process, the right technology and the people who execute cross.
We call it Method X: understand your operation in depth first, choose the technology second. Never the other way around.
That's why we have no shelf product to push. We work across PLC and robot brands, and build the solution around the problem.
Diagnosis and corrective maintenance, on site or remote. Including machines with no documentation or lost software.
More output, fewer errors and more control on the machine you already own, without buying a new one.
From concept to running equipment: electrical and mechanical design, software development, coordinated fabrication and commissioning, in Brazil or abroad.
Siemens, WEG, Omron, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Delta, Panasonic, Novus, Xinje and others.
KUKA, ABB and FANUC.
Automatic inspection that catches the defect before your customer does.
Traceability for every item across the operation.
Drawn from what your operation actually needs.
New controls on a machine that still has plenty of production left.
Machine handed over running, in Brazil or abroad.
Sorters, dedicated machines and solutions that don't exist off the shelf.
To keep your systems running safely.
The machine wouldn't hold the final roll diameter. Finished product came out off spec.
We installed a position control system with servo motors and a ball screw, holding the final diameter to the precision the customer needed.
Less material waste and a better finish on the final product.
Commission a paint marking system for steel coils using an articulated robot, integrated into the production line.
We installed the pneumatic paint system together with the articulated robot, integrated into the customer's line, to mark hot or cold steel coils.
Safer, more precise and faster operation, with a cleaner mark.
The customer wanted a machine that would sort goods by the destination encoded in each product's barcode.
We automated sorting with pneumatic arms and barcode reading, tied to the recipe the operator sets on the HMI. Each arm is bound to a destination: the system reads the code, identifies the destination and fires the right arm as the item passes.
Less rework, fewer returns from wrong-destination deliveries, less dependence on manual labor, and faster, more accurate shipping.
Automation technician with 9+ years in the field. Has worked with Siemens, WEG, Omron, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Delta, Panasonic, Novus and Xinje PLCs and HMIs, and with KUKA, ABB and FANUC robots.
Has run projects in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, the USA and Canada, in partnership with an Italian company.
Dextrus was founded to bring that experience into one place: custom automation, handled by the person inside the project.
Method X in 5 steps
You describe the problem over WhatsApp or a call. Photos and video of the machine help.
If needed, we meet or come to your plant to see the operation up close.
Scope, schedule and investment in writing. You know exactly what you are getting.
Design, software development, fabrication with qualified partners, installation and commissioning.
Testing with the machine in operation, plus the full project documentation.
Based in Tubarão, Brazil, serving all of Brazil and abroad, subject to schedule.
Run this number before you compare quotes.
Every hour down costs your company about $0.
Over an 8-hour shift, that is $0.
A rough estimate. It leaves out overtime, late-delivery penalties and the damage to your own customer relationships.
More often than not, the expensive option is leaving things exactly as they are.
Fix my downtimeEvery project has its own scope, so there is no price list. The quote comes after a first conversation, free and with no obligation.
The proposal arrives formal and detailed: scope, schedule, investment and payment terms. Ready for your purchasing team to compare against other bids, fully invoiced.
Request my quoteWe are putting together a continuous support plan for teams who would rather prevent downtime than chase it.
Want to hear about it first?
Tell me about the planEvery project ships with a phased schedule in the proposal. You know what happens at each stage and when the machine is back in production.
No. Whatever can be prepared before we arrive is prepared before we arrive. The intervention is booked inside your window: weekend, holiday or planned shutdown.
Custom means paying only for what your process needs. In many cases a retrofit solves it without replacing the whole machine. And the scope is fixed in writing, with no surprises halfway through.
Lean means talking straight to the people doing the work, with no account layer in between. For fabrication we run a network of qualified partners, coordinated by us. And this same setup has already worked in steel mills across 5 countries, alongside an Italian firm.
That is exactly the kind of project Dextrus looks for. If there were an off-the-shelf fix, you would have bought it already.
Our work is not finished until the machine runs exactly the way we agreed.
Year-end, plant vacation, general maintenance: that is when retrofits and upgrades happen without losing production. And those dates get taken fast.
Dextrus is lean, and part of the calendar goes to projects abroad, so we take a limited number of projects at a time.
The earlier the conversation, the easier it is to fit your project into your next shutdown.
Hold my dateQuestion not here? Send it over with a photo or video of the machine. We reply with the technical path, even if we are not the ones to do the work.
Ask my questionYes. We are based in Tubarão, Brazil, and work across Brazil and abroad, subject to schedule. We have delivered in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, the USA and Canada.
We have worked with Siemens, WEG, Omron, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Delta, Panasonic, Novus and Xinje PLCs and HMIs, and with KUKA, ABB and FANUC robots. If yours is another brand, get in touch and we will take a look.
Both. We can come in for software alone or take the whole project: electrical, mechanical, software, coordinated fabrication and installation.
Yes. We map out how the machine works, recover or rewrite the software, and leave everything documented so you never go through this again.
Yes, when the project calls for it. Often a WhatsApp conversation with photos and video is enough to put the proposal together.
You have support for life, on site or remote. Systems developed by Dextrus carry a 12-month warranty, and maintenance services 3 months. Full terms come with the proposal.
Message us on WhatsApp with a photo or video. Depending on the case, remote support can solve it. If a site visit is needed, we schedule it around the calendar.
Picture Monday with the line running at the right pace. No workarounds, no depending on someone who vanished.
That is what Dextrus delivers: automation designed around your process, from drawing to start-up.
Tell us your challenge. You leave the first conversation with a clearer path.

Machine down right now? Skip the report. Record a 30-second video of the machine and the panel and send it on WhatsApp. Depending on the case, we can start solving it by remote access the same day.
No two plants are alike. Your solution does not have to be either.
